Justice as a basic Instrument to create Harmonious Society: - Special reference with Buddhism and Platonism

Ratugamage Asha Nimali Fernando was born in Sri Lanka in 1974. She graduated from University of Sri Jayewardenepura with Second Class Upper Division distinction pass in 2002. She was awarded postgraduate scholarship to study western philosophy for her Masters from Government of India. Her submitted Master dissertation at University of Mysore, India, was awarded gold medal and cash prize to be the best post graduate research of the year. She also accomplished her second Master degree in Buddhist Philosophy at Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka in 2009.

During her study in Bachelor degree, Ratugamage has participated as a facilitator and youth Leader for the project of Unsafe Abortion and Reproductive Health, at World View Sri Lanka, an International Non-government Organization. Subsequently, she works as a project officer, at Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka, a Government Institute, and later jointed academic staff of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in 2005.

At present she is a Senior Lecturer in the Program of Philosophy and Psychology attached to the Department of Pali and Buddhist studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. And PhD candidate University of Stuttgart, Germany.
