Buddhism and Suicide - Right attitude towards death

Kanae Kawamoto received a Bachelor of Art degree in Buddhist studies on mutual influence between Art and different Religions such as Japanese Zen and Pure land Buddhism, and Islam at Bukkyo University, Japan. She has written a graduation thesis "Religion and Art: their death and rebirth". For the further practice in Art, she has performed at concerts and art projects as a sound artist internationally in Japan, Europe, and the United States. She won a prize by Meet The Composer (USA) and also has film experience in "Carnets d'un fragment sonore" (Samantha Granger, 2009).

Since 2008, she has been living in Yangon in Myanmar to research for Abhidhamma and meditation technique in Theraväda Buddhism at International Theraväda Buddhist Missionary University. She was in the charge of illustration in Korean translation of "Buddhism and Vegetarianism" written by Ashin Nandamälavivaäsa, Myanmar, 2009.
