Hon. Prof. Thongthong Chantharangsu, Deputy Prime Minister’s Office was the president of project meeting of organizing the 9th International Vesak on the occasion of “Celebrating 2600 years of Buddhajayanti of the Buddha’s Enlightenment” with the attendants, Ms Ladawan Buaeiam, Vice Rector of Public Relations Department and its staff, to discuss the preparation and the movement of the event activities on May 10, 2012 at the Public Relations Dept. Meeting Room No. 203 |

The being organized activities of this Celebration for Buddhajayanti of the Buddha’s Enlightenment are of the characteristics of educational promotion and the practices consisting of giving, morality and meditation by emphasizing the learning of the Buddha’s enlightened teachings. These activities are also to be offered in the great time of the 84th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the King, and the 80th Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen.
