Secretary

Administration & Coordination Services

You will provide general administrative support and help with clerical duties before and during the games. Candidates with administrative experience are preferred.

Government Relations

You will provide client services to domestic dignitaries. Duties include administrative, hospitality and coordination services. Good communication skills and fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of other foreign language is a plus.

International Relations

You will provide guest services including administration and coordination services to IABU partners and sponsors. Proficiency in English and other foreign languages is preferred.

Interpretation & Translation Services

You will provide simple interpretation and translation services during the celebration at unofficial meetings and gatherings, including documents translation. Ability to speak and write English and French is a must. Candidates fluent in Arabic, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean & Spanish are welcome.

HR and Workforce

Volunteer Management Services

Working from the various venues, you will support the volunteer management team in monitoring and supporting the volunteer workforce during celebration. Good communication skills coupled with experience in managing volunteers is a plus.

Workforce Support Services

You will provide administrative services to paid and contract workforce before and after the celebration. Experience in HR and workforce management is preferred.

Corporate Communications and Public Relations

Community & Public Relations

You will help with the organization of public events to create awareness of Vesak Day celebration. You are expected to work in the field under all weather conditions. Experience in organizing public and community events is a plus. Must enjoy working with people and in tight schedules and under pressure.

Editorial Services & Online Communications

You will create, produce and manage content and features for print and electronic publications. You must have experience in content development. We are looking for photographers, videographers, graphics designers, animation producers who are independent and creative and able to work before and during the celebration.

Media Relations

You will help coordinate the scheduling of media requests, monitor media stories and assist in providing services to the media. Experience in media relations and knowledge of local, national and international media exposure are preferred.

Press Operations

You will provide services to accredited press at the main press centre and all  venues. Experience in media industry, including journalism and photography, and knowledge of Buddhism is preferred.

Cultural and Exhibition

New Media

You will help to create new media material for the Buddhism. We are looking for creative people with knowledge of IT and content development.

Arts and Culture

You will assist in the organization of arts and cultural show. You must have knowledge of the arts scene in Buddhism culture.

IT and Technology

IT and Technology

Working from the various venues, you will assist the technology team in set-up and logistics aspects. Some knowledge of IT will be added bonus.

Logistics and Finance

Finance Services

You will help with general financial services such as processing of payment, documentation, filing, etc. We are looking for individuals with financial and accounting background.

Food and Beverage Services

Working from venues and village, you will provide food and beverage services to Participants, officials, workforce, and guests. Students from hospitality industry are preferred.

Transportation

You will help with coordination and scheduling of transportation for athletes, officials, workforce, delegates, and guests. We are looking for matured individuals with valid class 3 drivers’ license.

Venue Support Services

Deployed at the various venues, you will assist the logistics team in the set up and running of the logistics function. You must be prepared to work under all weather conditions. We are looking for matured individuals with no medical condition and good physical fitness.
